This replaces the standard plastic AUG charging handle cover and spring assembly with an aluminum unit that is slimmer, grooved and sits horizontal with the AUG. The placement of the cover reduces the risk of an operator contacting the picatinny top rail. This unit would still allow the lockback function. Only fits the AUG A3 and M1
